Meet the musicians in our Peter Gabriel show!

Joe Trainor (vocals) Joe returns to the TRO stage to tackle the vocals of one his favorite artists. Past tributes include vocals on all five In The Light productions, one Keep It Dark (Genesis) production, in addition to self-produced tributes to Billy Joel and Pink Floyd. As TRO co-artistic director and music director, Joe is helming the massive BeatleFest in July. Joe is also a songwriter who works with The Joe Trainor Trio.

Darby McLaughlin (vocals) Theater teacher by day, performer by night... Darby Elizabeth McLaughlin is always on the go. When not running around in classrooms, she can be found in the MD/DE/PA area performing in various shows and gigs. Most recently seen on stage in Heathers The Musical, Lizzie The Musical and several productions of Green Day’s American Idiot.

Joe Vasile (guitar) Joe Vasile studied jazz guitar at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. A versatile guitarist , Joe has pushed himself to explore new styles throughout his career. He has performed with such acts as the calypso/fusion band Fe, Andrew Lipke and the Prospects, The Peek-A-Boo Revue, and currently with the Philadelphia-based glam rock tribute band, Candy Volcano.

Dan Long (keyboards) A 36 year veteran of the local music scene, Dan is currently the keyboardist for Echoes- The American Pink Floyd, bandleader and keyboardist for dance/party band Best Kept Secret. He has played keyboards for over 30 years with jam band Montana Wildaxe, and also freelances with several area blues bands. A computer geek by day, in his tiny amount of free time, Dan enjoys dog training, riding his motorcycle, and craft beer, though not simultaneously!

Chris Duncan (keyboards, backing vocals) Chris Duncan is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Currently the lead vocalist for local cover band BFF, she is also a background vocalist for Echoes (a Pink Floyd tribute band), Montana Wildaxe, and part of the “Limestone Connection,” a group of studio musicians used for various local recording artists.

Kevin Niemi (bass) Kevin plays bass. Kevin likes bacon. Kevin is a bacon-loving bass player. He plays the bass with original groups The Joe Trainor Trio and Slackerbot. He’s played in a few tributes including An Evening of Billy Joel, Pink Floyd’s The Wall, A Night Of Stardust: A Tribute To David Bowie and I Want My CTC: A Tribute To The 80s. He’s also played with area theater groups and loves bacon.

Matt Urban (drums) TRO co-artistic director has played the last two TRO productions from the drum seat. Before that he founded area tribute group In The Light (performing all of their shows, including the Genesis offshoot Keep It Dark). He’s played with area original bands The Miles, Omeomy and Old Baltimore Speedway.
